The Instillery appoints new chief operating officer

The Instillery, New Zealand’s fastest-growing cloud service provider, today announced that Jamie Wallis has joined The Instillery Group in the newly created role of chief operating officer.

In this role Wallis will be responsible for leading The Instillery Group’s operations and delivery to customers as the business looks to expand its footprint globally.

The executive leadership appointment is well-timed for the group who have seen vast growth in the past 12 months.

“The Instillery has seen phenomenal growth this year and our business is in an exciting place as we look ahead to 2017. In the coming months we’ll be entering new markets and new countries as we continue to build out our strategic partnerships with the likes of Cloudability and Zscaler.” explains The Instillery founder and ceo, Mike Jenkins.

Jenkins says he is delighted to announce the appointment of Wallis who comes to the business with extensive digital experience and a solid understanding of global sales and operations.

“Jamie is a proven executive and comes to us with a wealth of leadership and management experience. We’re very excited to have someone of his calibre leading our operations and global expansion in the newly established COO role. Jamie has a rock solid understanding of global sales and operations which will be key as we continue to drive sustainable growth across the globe, beginning with The Instillery’s expansion into the UK in 2017."

Most recently Wallis was general manager - services at ReachLocal ANZ, a leader in powering online marketing for local businesses, where he was responsible for client retention across the ANZ region and 68 staff across marketing, client services, technology, performance and operations.
