1. Information Collected

If you complete an enquiry form, call us or send an email we will collect your name, email address, phone number and the contents of your communication, if included.

2. Purpose of Collection

The information collected by completing an enquiry form, calling us or sending us an email is only used to make contact with you to answer your query. 

If you enrol in a training session or one of our seminars/events, then your information will be used to book your space at the required event.

If you enquire about any of our services, events, newsletters, publications or competitions, then your information may also be used to provide you with marketing about other Instillery Group services. You can opt-out of receiving marketing materials at any time by contacting us.

3. Access to Information

If you wish to view any of the information we hold regarding you please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Services Team.

4. Security

We will make sure the information you provided is not damaged or shared inappropriately. We take special care to ensure that only authorised people are able to view your information.

5. Information Sharing

If you enrol in an IAPP training session, then your information will be shared with IAPP to enable them to arrange to send you the required material and set up your free membership.  

We may share information with other companies owned by The Instillery Group.

Otherwise, we do not share your personal information with any other parties unless we have your consent or are required to do so by law.

6. Statistical Information

The Instillery Group may collect statistical information about your visit to our website to help us improve it. This information does not identify individuals and makes use of cookies. 

A cookie is a piece of code that creates a file on your computer to track the pages that you view on our website. We use Google Universal Analytics to collect and analyse details about the use of our website. You may turn off cookies at any time. Most browsers have a feature that allows the user to refuse cookies, or issues a warning when cookies are being sent. Turning off cookies may affect your ability to use some components of this site.


The information we collect includes:

a. The IP address of the device;

b. The pages accessed on our site and the links clicked on;

c. The date and time the site was visited;

d. The referring site (if any) through which you clicked through to this site;

e. The operating system (e.g. Windows 7, Mac OSX) on the device used;

f. The type of web browser used (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox); and

g. Other incidental matters such as screen resolution and the language setting used.

7. Candidate Information

By applying for a role and providing my details, I expressly authorise The Instillery Group to collect, use, store, and share any information provided in relation to my application, in order to assess my suitability for employment. This includes, but is not limited to, the information provided in this application for employment and any other information gathered by a representative of n relation to my previous employment and criminal history. I understand that except as required by law, none of the information that I provide will be disclosed to a third party without my prior authorisation.

 

By applying for a role and providing my details, I also confirm that:

a. The information provided is true and accurate

b. If I am successful in my application, I authorise The Instillery to use this same information for any other purpose related to my future employment

c. I understand that under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, I have the right to ask for a copy of the information that TIG holds about me, and to also seek correction of that information.

d. We retain unsuccessful applicants' personal information for potential future talent search. However, if you would like us to not do this, please email peopleandculture@theinstillery.com and this will be removed.

8. Client Information

By nature of the IT support & consulting services The Instillery provides to 3rd parties (Clients), we are privy to basic user information - name and email. From time to time in the provision of this service we also record remote support sessions, which are recorded for quality, incident investigation. This information is stored securely.
